# Medical Editorial and Corrections Policy — Realign Rehab Clinic

Updated: July 25, 2026

Canonical page: https://realign.clinic/editorial-policy

## Purpose

Realign Rehab Clinic publishes physiotherapy and rehabilitation information for general patient education. It is not personalised diagnosis, medical advice, or a treatment plan.

## Authorship and review

Clinical content is attributed to Dr. Vaishali Suri (P.T.), the clinic founder, whose displayed qualifications are BPT and MIAP. Medical claims, safety statements, and treatment descriptions must receive human review before publication. AI tools may assist with organisation or drafting, but they are not accepted as clinical sources.

## Evidence hierarchy

We prioritise:

1. Current clinical guidelines from official healthcare bodies.
2. Systematic reviews and evidence syntheses.
3. Peer-reviewed primary research.
4. Official public-health information.

A generic publisher or journal homepage is not treated as a claim-level citation. Important claims should link to the relevant guideline, review, or paper wherever practical.

## Core sources

- World Health Organization — Rehabilitation: https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/rehabilitation
- NICE clinical guidance: https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance
- Cochrane evidence: https://www.cochrane.org/evidence
- PubMed biomedical literature: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/

## Writing standards

- Lead with a direct, plain-language answer.
- Separate independent evidence from clinic-specific services.
- Avoid guaranteed outcomes and universal recovery timelines.
- Explain limitations, contraindications, red flags, and referral needs.
- Cite specific sources for statistics and material clinical claims.

## Updates and corrections

Evergreen pages are reviewed when guidance changes and during periodic maintenance. Updated dates are used only for substantive revisions. Factual or clinical errors should be reported to care@realign.clinic with the page URL and statement in question.

## Medical limitations

Website information cannot account for an individual's diagnosis, medication, pregnancy status, surgery, neurological signs, or medical history. Seek urgent local care for emergencies or severe and rapidly worsening symptoms.
