Online Physiotherapy for Patients in the USA

Video physical therapy consultations from India — no insurance paperwork, no referral, early-morning and evening US slots, honest pricing.

What online physiotherapy from India means for Americans

Online physiotherapy (tele-rehab) is a live video consultation in which a physiotherapist assesses your movement, prescribes a progressive exercise programme, and corrects your technique in real time — the exercise-based core of rehabilitation, delivered over a video call instead of a clinic table. Realign Rehab Clinic provides these sessions from Faridabad, India, led by Dr. Vaishali Suri (BPT, MIAP), for patients in United Stateswho can't get timely or affordable physiotherapy locally.

In the US, a physical therapy session without insurance commonly runs $75–150, and with insurance you're often still paying a $30–75 specialist copay per visit — for a plan of care that might prescribe two or three visits a week. A twelve-visit episode of care can cost more than a used car's down payment. Deductibles reset in January; injuries don't check the calendar.

Why patients in United States book video rehab with us

The US system is built for the acute visit, not the twelve-week middle of rehab. High copays push people to stretch appointments out — once every three weeks instead of weekly — which is the single most reliable way to make a rehab programme fail. Weekly video check-ins solve the adherence problem at a price that doesn't punish consistency.

More than four million people of Indian origin live in the US — Edison, Fremont, Frisco, Jersey City. Many of our US patients found us while arranging in-clinic physiotherapy for a parent in Faridabad and stayed for their own desk-job neck pain. Sessions in English or Hindi, whichever your shoulder prefers to complain in.

Session times that work from United States

India is 9.5–10.5 hours ahead of US Eastern Time and 12.5–13.5 ahead of Pacific. Practically: our staffed clinic hours cover your early mornings before work (6–9 AM ET / 6–8 AM PT) and late evenings (9:30 PM ET onward). The 7 AM ET Tuesday slot is the most popular booking we have.

What works over video — and what doesn't

We'd rather lose a booking than pretend everything translates to a screen. Video sessions are excellent for movement assessment, progressive exercise rehab, posture retraining, load management and pain education. They cannot deliver manual therapy, dry needling, cupping or electrotherapy — if your assessment shows you need hands-on care, we say so in the first session and help you find it locally. Online physiotherapy from United States — common questions

Do I need a doctor's referral or prescription for online physiotherapy?

Not with us. US states have varying direct-access rules for local PT, but our video consultations are an international telehealth service — you book directly. Bring any imaging or reports you have (MRI, X-ray) to the first session; they help, but a good movement assessment on camera tells us most of what we need.

Will my US health insurance or HSA cover this?

US insurance won't reimburse an India-based provider. HSA/FSA eligibility depends on your administrator's rules — check with them before assuming either way. Most patients simply pay out of pocket because the total cost of a full rehab block with us is comparable to two or three US copays.

Is online physical therapy from India safe and legitimate?

Dr. Vaishali Suri is a registered physiotherapist in India (BPT, MIAP) with 10+ years of clinical practice and a 4.9/5 rating from 150+ Google reviews. She is not US-licensed, and sessions are telehealth exercise-rehabilitation consultations, not US medical care. Red-flag symptoms — trauma, fever with back pain, progressive neurological deficits, bladder/bowel changes — need a US clinician first. We screen for exactly these in the first ten minutes.

What happens in the first online session?

45 minutes on video: history, pain behaviour, then a guided movement exam — you'll squat, reach, bend and balance while we watch camera angles we ask you to set up. You leave with a diagnosis impression, a starting exercise programme (with video references from our exercise library), and a clear answer on whether video rehab is right for your case.
