Online Physiotherapy Sessions from India

Live video assessment, progressive exercise rehab and weekly follow-ups with Dr. Vaishali Suri (MPT Sports Medicine, BPT, MIAP) — for patients in Australia, Canada, the USA, the UAE, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and beyond who can't get timely or affordable physiotherapy where they live.

What is online physiotherapy?

Online physiotherapy — also called tele-rehab, virtual physiotherapy or telehealth physical therapy — is a live video consultation in which a physiotherapist assesses how you move, prescribes a progressive exercise programme, and corrects your technique in real time while you exercise on camera. It delivers the part of rehabilitation that research links most strongly to recovery: a correctly performed, progressively loaded exercise plan with regular expert supervision.

Here's the honest version of why this works from India: rehabilitation fails not because exercise plans are rare, but because follow-through is. In Canada you wait weeks and your benefits run out mid-plan. In Australia and Singapore each visit costs enough that "weekly" quietly becomes "monthly". In the Gulf, the nearest good clinic may be an hour from your compound. A weekly video session at Indian pricing removes the two things that kill rehab programmes — cost per visit and the commute.

How online sessions work, step by step

  1. 1

    Message us on WhatsApp

Send your city, your problem in one or two lines, and any reports you have (MRI, X-ray, surgeon's notes) to +91 9818185589. We reply with slot options converted to your local time zone — usually within a few hours.

  2. 2

Set up for the video assessment

You need a phone or laptop with a camera, roughly 2 × 2 metres of floor space, and clothes you can move in. Prop the camera so we can see you standing head to toe — we'll guide the exact angles during the call.

  3. 3

    Complete a 45-minute assessment session

History first, then a guided movement exam: you'll bend, squat, reach, and balance while Dr. Vaishali watches for the patterns that explain your pain. You get a working diagnosis impression and an honest verdict on whether video rehab suits your case.

  4. 4

    Follow your exercise programme

You receive a written, progressive exercise plan matched to guides from our exercise library, with sets, reps, and pain rules — what's normal to feel and what means stop.

  5. 5

    Weekly video follow-ups

Each follow-up, you perform the exercises live on camera. Technique gets corrected, load gets progressed, and the plan adapts to how your body actually responded — the part of rehab most people never get to.

Guides on online physiotherapy

Online physiotherapy — common questions

What is online physiotherapy (tele-rehab)?

Online physiotherapy is a live video consultation in which a physiotherapist assesses your movement, prescribes a progressive exercise programme, and corrects your technique in real time. It delivers the exercise-based core of rehabilitation — assessment, progression, adherence — over a video call. It does not include hands-on treatments like manual therapy, dry needling or electrotherapy.

Does online physiotherapy actually work?

For exercise-led rehabilitation — most back, neck, knee and shoulder problems — published telerehabilitation research consistently reports outcomes comparable to in-person exercise therapy, because the active ingredient (a correctly performed, progressively loaded exercise programme) is the same. Where hands-on treatment is clinically necessary, video is not a substitute, and we say so at assessment.

Who provides the online sessions?

Dr. Vaishali Suri (MPT Sports Medicine, BPT, MIAP) is the founder of Realign Rehab Clinic in Faridabad, India. Confirm clinician availability and current credentials with the clinic before booking.

Which countries do you serve?

Primarily Australia, Canada, the USA, the UAE, Singapore and Saudi Arabia — our clinic hours (8 AM–8 PM IST, Monday–Saturday) map to workable morning or evening slots in all six. Patients from other countries are welcome; if the time zones overlap, we can treat you.

How much does an online physiotherapy session cost?

Sessions are priced in Indian rupees, which is the point: a month of weekly video sessions typically costs less than one or two private physiotherapy visits in Sydney, Toronto, New York or Dubai. WhatsApp +91 9818185589 for current per-session and rehab-block rates — no lock-ins, no packages you don't need.

Is online physiotherapy from India legitimate for overseas patients?

Sessions are telehealth exercise-rehabilitation consultations provided from India by a BPT-qualified physiotherapist. Dr. Suri is not licensed in Australia, Canada, the US, the UAE, Singapore or Saudi Arabia, and these sessions are not a substitute for local medical care. Red-flag symptoms — trauma, unexplained weight loss, fever with back pain, progressive weakness, bladder or bowel changes — need a local doctor first. We screen for these at the start of every assessment.

Can you coordinate care for my parents in India while I live abroad?

Yes — this is one of our most common arrangements. Your parent attends our Faridabad clinic in person (or we visit their home anywhere in Faridabad), and you join a video review from abroad to see the plan and progress. One physiotherapist, both formats, no information lost between them.

What equipment do I need for video sessions?

A phone or laptop with a camera, a stable internet connection, and about 2 × 2 metres of space. Most programmes start with bodyweight only; where equipment helps, we design around things you have — a towel, a backpack with books, a resistance band if you own one.
